One of the best parts of our trip south was the chance to meet Shaun and Ulrica, our long time Internet friends.
Here's a picture of the two of them. If you look closely, you can see Ulrica's lovely engagement ring on her finger.
Mike gets his turn with the couple.
We talked Ulrica's mom into taking a picture of all four of us.
Finally, it's Christmas Eve! Before we could open the real presents, Mike's niece decided to have us play a little gift exchange game. It's quite fun and easy. You need silly presents (candy and whatnot) for everyone (you can actually have more presents than the number of people) and a dice. First, you go around the circle and everyone rolls the dice. When someone rolls a six they get to take a package. You continue going around and around until all the packages are claimed. Then you set a timer for five minutes and go around and keep rolling. When someone gets a six, they get to take a package away from someone else. When the timer buzzes everyone gets to open their gifts, but the game isn't over. The timer is set for five more minutes and everyone tries to roll sixes again. Once again, when someone rolls a six they get to steal a gift from another player.

In this picture you have Mike's brother, Mike's three nieces and Mike and myself.

More of the game. This time you can see Mike's niece (the one who was a nanny in America for six months) and his three nephews.
Here you have Mike's sister and her husband, along with Mike's brother and his daughter.
And here you have his two nephews again, along with his sister-in-law and his sister-in-law's dad.
Finally! Santa starts delivering the gifts. We had to wait until all the gifts were handed out before we were allowed to open any of the presents. It's hard to wait that long when presents are being delivered to 16 different people!
Mike and I show off our haul.
More pics of the presents taken by Mike's dad.
We have all our gifts loaded up and ready for our suitcases.
